Connect FUB + Submit the Setup Form

This form connects Leadengage to your Follow Up Boss account.

Please only submit this form ONCE. If your account is not working and it's been at least 1 business day, please reach out to [email protected].

You'll need the API key from the Follow Up Boss account owner's profile. See the video link below if you need help finding it.

By submitting, you agree to ensure your forms include TCPA-compliant opt-in language and a compliant privacy policy page.

Submit for A2P Phone Service Approval

This step is essential for SMS delivery. If you get stuck, skip to Step 3 and we can assist on your Zoom call.

iMessage/Blue customers only that aren't also registering for A2P: You're on the wrong page. Go to Blue Onboarding.

Based in Canada 🇨🇦? If you don't text US numbers, you can skip parts 1, 2, and 4 of this step — but please set your time zone in Business Profile and buy a number.

  • Go to leadengage.com and click Login.

  • Part 1: Settings > Business Profile — fill out top 4 sections with your IRS business info. Set your time zone. Skip Branded Domain.

  • Part 2: Settings > Phone System > Trust Center > "Start Registering Now" — A2P Brand info will pre-populate. Use the campaign template below for best approval odds and update your contact form on your website as noted in the guide.

  • Part 3: Add a Phone Number & Configure Call Forwarding.

  • Part 4 (Optional): Caller ID and Anti-Spam registrations (free) — only after A2P Brand is approved.

  • Part 5: Disable or Edit SMS Compliance, Number Intelligence, and Missed Call Text Back. Strongly suggested: Read & Sign the form to opt-out of the automated SMS Compliance (as this automation may cause duplicate opt-out statements).

Call-To-Action/Message Flow?
USE SYSTEM GENERATED MESSAGE when you select OPT-IN Method “Website Form” and paste link to the page with the contact form. Here is what it should look like: End users opt in via Website Form by visiting <[WEBSITE]> and completing a form that collects their phone number. Users can optionally select a consent checkbox to agree to receive SMS messages.

Opt-in Message:
Welcome! You've now opted-in to messaging from <[LEGAL NAME] DBA [BUSINESS NAME]>. Message Frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt-out, and HELP for support.

Book Your Onboarding Zoom Call

Set up your private Zoom call to meet with our team. We'll confirm your accounts are connected, walk through how to use LeadEngage in Follow Up Boss, review plan features, and show you where to find resources.

If you got stuck on Step 2 (A2P 10DLC registration), we can help on the call.

Pro tip: Complete Step 2 first and book your call after you receive A2P campaign approval — this makes the best use of call time. Once approved, we'll send this booking link by email and text.

Add Leadengage Embedded App to Follow Up Boss

  • Go to Follow Up Boss > Admin > Integrations.

  • Scroll to Embedded Apps and select Leadengage, then click "Enable".

  • The Inbox App will already be checked from providing your FUB API in Step 1.

  • Go to any contact and drag the Leadengage sidebar widget to the top for easy access.

  • Test sending instant and scheduled messages, as well as receiving messages.

  • Set up your Leadengage Smart List (Kee Technology will assist if hired for setup).

  • Connect your social profiles for review and DM syncing.

Learn the Admin Portal

  • Explore the Admin Portal layout — get familiar with structure and navigation.
  • Connect your social profiles under Integrations on the left-hand side.
  • Access key features — learn where to find important tools and settings.
  • Billing in Settings — manage your billing information.
  • Help Desk Chat — use the chat in the bottom right corner for guided tours and support.
